On the margins of a meeting at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in the early stages of the formation of the Mbeki Foundation and the Thabo Mbeki Leadership Institute (TMALI), former President Mbeki spoke about the Book, and his experiences with the NEPAD process. I later worked for the TMALI as associate lecturer in Principles of Good Governance in Africa.
