I had the opportunity to catch up with my former boss at NEPAD, Prof. hashtag#Wiseman Nkuhlu. We reminisced about our shared experiences at the NEPAD Secretariat, now the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA), including the progress made in the early years of hashtag#NEPAD.
We also discussed key messages on leadership from his book, “Purposeful Leadership for Africa in the 21st Century.” Given the tumultuous state of the world, we debated how Africans can best contribute to both the continent’s development and global stability.
We agreed that, regardless of the challenges, we must not give up on our journey toward a peaceful and prosperous Africa.
