Still on reading and writing: in October 2023 I had an interview with Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on a project I was working on. I took the opportunity to ask him about his love for writing. Within no time, he had given me a summary of the books he has written.
He said his favourite is “My Dear God”. “I have written fifty-two letters to God, one for each week of the year, baring my heart to him. I have been open as I see myself imperfect and sinful as I am and needing His continuous grace to make my life sublime after praying penitently, remorsefully, and humbly, for forgiveness of my inadequacies.”
Before I knew it, I had bought all these from the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
